Nimoy: “It all began thousands of years ago.”

Nimoy: “She is an alien. The configurations of her brain are different.”

Marj Dusay as Kara: “Brain and brain! What is brain??”

DeForest Kelley as McCoy: “His brain is gone!”

Kelley: “No one can restore a brain!”

Kelley: “What am I supposed to do?? I can’t remember...”

Music: Kettle drums.

Kelley: “I don’t remember.”

Shatner: “A while ago it was childsplay!”

Dusay (in whiny voice): “I do not know.”

Kelley: “But, I don’t know how!”

Kelley: “Of course... A child could do it... A child could do it!”

Shatner: “We’ll help you, for a while. Humans have survived under worse conditions. It’s a matter of evolution. You’ll be fine.”

Shatner: “We come from a far place... We are men.”

Shatner: “Great Leader, we come from a far place... to learn from your Controller.”

James Doohan as Mr. Scott: “Captain, I’ve got something, but I can’t quite get a fix on it.”

SFX: Mr. Scott trying to get a fix on something with his tricorder.

Kelley: “I can’t give you any guarantee.”

Shatner: “That’s not good enough, Doctor.”

Shatner: “You must... help us.”

Shatner: “I wish to talk to those in charge.”

Dusay: “In charge?”

Shatner: “Yes, the organizers – the managers – the leader of your people.”

Dusay: “That is the knowledge you have brought me.”

Shatner: “C’mon, Bones, what’s the mystery??”

Dusay: “He is giving no credit to me. I provide the means whereby the knowledge is used.”

Dusay: “No!”

Dusay: “No. It is not permitted.”

Shatner: “This fellow is keeping us from our property.”

Shatner: “Who are the Others?”

James Daris as Morg #1: “The givers of pain... and delight.”

Shatner: “Do they live here with you?”

Daris: “No, they come. They give pain and delight.”

Walter Koenig as Chekov: “What could the Others do to cause such terror?”

Shatner: “What was it he said? Pain and delight?”

Koenig: “Peculiar mixture.”

Shatner: “The primitive creature we encountered above warned us about the givers of pain and delight and the frightening consequences of being captured by them.”

Doohan: “Pain and delight, he said up above.”

Kelley: “I’m sure you noticed the ‘delight’ aspect of this place.”

Shatner: “Yes, I certainly did notice those delightful aspects, but that, too, was strictly under command of the women.”

Shatner: “We’ve got pain-giving devices attached to us. Can you tell us how to get them off?”

Nimoy: “There is a definite pleasurable experience connected with the hearing of your voice.”

Nimoy: “I shall give it top priority.”

Shatner: “You must put back what you have taken!”

Nimoy: “A male/female schism took place.”

Shatner: “Beam us a signal so we can hone in on you.”

Nimoy: “Acknowledged.”

SFX: Spock’s disembodied brain beaming a signal.

Kelley: “What am I supposed to do??”

Music: Kettle drum.

Kelley: “What am I supposed to do?”

Nimoy: “Thoughtful, Captain, but probably impractical.”

Shatner: “What happened?”

Kelley: “I don’t know.”

Kelley: “It’s no use. You’ll get nothing out of that one. Hers is the mind of a child.”

Kelley: “Her mind is functioning on a very simple level.”

Doohan: “Now, those women could never have set up anything as complex as this has to be. Well, that takes engineering genius, but there’s no sign of engineering genius in any of those women.”

Shatner: “They were smart enough to invent these training devices. What a way to maintain control over a man.”

Daris: “Your words... say nothing.”

Sfx: Communicator.

Shatner: "Kirk to Enterprise."

Nimoy: "Enterprise – Spock here."
