Stallone: "Say, Adrian. You don't think this robe is too baggy, ya know?"

Shire: "Good luck."

Stallone: "Don't leave town."

Sylvester Stallone: "Yo, you look great."

Talia Shire: "Really?"

Stallone: "Oh, yeah! Terrific! I mean, you're gonna be a heart break. You'll walk down the street breakin' hearts, the way you're lookin'. Very sharp!"

Sylvester Stallone: "Hey, you got something for me?"

Burgess Meredith as Mickey: "Yeah. There was some guy here from Miles Jergens lookin' for ya. They need a sparring partner for Apollo Creed."

Stallone: "You're puttin' me on!"

Meredith: "Here's the card."

Stallone: "When was they here?"

Meredith: "About an hour ago."

Stallone: "They're probably lookin' for a sparring partner for Creed, ya know?"

Meredith: "I said that before, ya dumb d***o!"

Stallone: "...Ya know, I been comin' here for six years, and for six years you been stickin' it to me. I wanna know how come."

Meredith: "You don't wanna know!"

Stallone: "Yeah, I wanna know how come!"

Meredith: "You wanna know?"

Meredith: "Okay, I'm gonna tell ya! Cuz you had the talent to become a good fighter! And instead of that, you became a leg breaker for some cheap, second-rate loan shark!"

Burgess Meredith: "Your nose is broke."

Sylvester Stallone: "How's it look?"

Meredith: "Aahh, it's an improvement."

Talia Shire: "Ya want a roommate?"

Sylvester Stallone: "... Absolutely."

Trumpets play the fanfare of the Rocky theme song.

Burgess Meredith: "Okay, now when you walk into the ring, with the number-one heavyweight in the world, you'll be ready, won't ya? Why? Because I waited for 50 years to make ya ready! You'll be able to spit nails, kid! Like the guy says, you're gonna eat lightning and you're gonna crap thunder! You're gonna become a very dangerous person!"

First girl: "Hey, Rock."

Sylvester Stallone: "What."

Second girl: "How 'bout you give us your autograph?"

Burgess Meredith: "Get outta here!! Don't you ever interrupt me while I'm conductin' business! Move your little chicken asses out!... Listen, kid, you! You lay off that [young lady from the pet shop. You'll go weak in the knees]."

Stallone: "Yeah, but I really like her, ya know?"

Meredith: "Then let her train ya!"

Stallone: "... Okay, no more foolin' around."

Meredith: "Okay, now hit."

Stallone: "[I'll go weak in the knees], huh?"
